Introducing the e-library formally, University of Cape Coast Librarian Dr. Mac-Anthony Cobblah called it a knowledge-based centre. In realising this concept, he gave credit to the student leadership and the Hall Council. Dr. Cobblah was upbeat that the e-library will give students the contemporary ICT skills they need to advance both academically and professionally.

Dr. Cobblah stressed the long-term advantages and said that the e-library is a progressive investment in the future of Adehye Hall students, both present and future. He exhorted locals to make the most of the facility and to maintain it for the benefit of next generations.

Dr. Cobblah promised to give the e-library a television as a token of support, therefore expanding its resources.
